The word "ذلّت" (humiliation) is one of the words that has been used in various forms in the Holy Qur'an to inform about the performance and results related to human behavior from the perspective of this concept and guide man in the path of dignity. On the other hand, in order to better understand the meanings of this word in the divine book, it is necessary to examine this concept and the words related to it, especially ذ ل ل"” and its derivatives, from the semantic point of view, and see which words have paradigmatic relations with it. This study used a descriptive analytical method in library research and examined “ذ ل ل” and its derivatives in the Holy Quran from a semantic point of view. The results show that “ذ ل ل” and its derivatives have been used  in the Holy Qur'an 24 times. The word has a range of meanings that can paradigmatically and syntagmatically be classified to different degrees. Numerous examples of paradigmatic and synonymous relations can be found alongside phonetic paradigmatic relations. Finally, it was found that it is possible to examine the relationship between "ذ ل ل" and ع ز ز", "ک ب ر", "س ک ن", "ع ذ ب", "ر ه ق", "غ ض ب" " within the sentences and clarify the meanings of the different dimensions of  “ذ ل ل” by analyzing its paradigmatic relations.
